KOMAX static mixers employ a simple, reliable design to provide the ultimate in mixing. The simple inline design with fixed arrangement of geometrically designed mixing elements means that there are NO MOVING PARTS. Process-stream flow provides the energy for mixing with an end result that is up to ten times more efficient than dynamic mixing. This high-efficiency is reached through its triple action mixing process. The process-stream is mixed through two-by-two division (increasing geometrically with each element addition); cross-current mixing which randomizes material distribution by direct stream impingement, and counter-rotating vortices which improves turbulence and dramatically increases mixing efficiency.
These motionless mixers are available in tube and pipe sizes from ¾-inch NPS to over 6 feet in diameter. The mixers can be constructed of stainless steel, carbon steel, PVC, fiberglass and other materials upon request.
